Lover expresses his enjoyment of Saturday's performance. In indicating his desire for "a new treat," Lover makes an allusion to Hamlet's commentary on Gertrude: "an increase of appetite grows by what it feeds on." Mentions his previous patience in waiting for "The merchant of Venice" and indicates that he "craves for an early slice of King John."
